A word from the chefs Our social series is dedicated to celebrating sustainability and the rich heritage of indigenous African ingredients through innovative culinary experiences. Each event in the series focuses on a specific ingredient; our first, second and third series focused on Maize, Impepho and Rooibos respectively, showcasing their versatility and cultural significance.
These gatherings, hosted by talented chefs Asi and Athi, aim to inform and stoke meaningful discussions about the significance of using locally sourced, traditional ingredients. Through a carefully curated multi-course menu, we tell the story of each ingredient, blending traditional and contemporary techniques to create memorable dishes.
Our goal is to foster a deeper appreciation for African cuisine, promote sustainable practices, and bring people together over shared meals and stories.
This forth episode will shine a spotlight on Sorghum, with a special 12 course Canape curated menu by our talented chefs.
