It’s almost time for the iconic Cape Town Carnival which is happening on the Greenpoint Fan Walk on 15 March 2025 at 6pm! Come celebrate the unique Carnival extravaganza that showcases incredible floats, costumes, artworks, our dancing communities as well as talent, fun, and passion.
WowZA! celebrates the glamour and magic of Cape Town, blending imagination, creativity, and our South African spirit. Each float and group of performers—will showcase the magic of our city, our culture, and our vibrant energy. This year, we’re turning up the joy, laughter, and fun with a touch of glamour, all wrapped in the wonder of the Mother City’s Magic. This Carnival, we’re honouring Cape Town, South Africa, and the incredible journey we’ve had over the past 15 years!

Come to the Waterfront on Saturday 1 March between 4pm – 5pm to get a taste of some of the WowZA! that you will experience on Carnival Day!
On Thursday 13 March 5pm – 6pm you will get a sneak peep of Rio Carnival’s Queen of the Drums!
