At AISCT we believe in the power and value of musical performance, and also that everybody can play marimba! From only six High School marimba students in 2015 our marimba ensemble has evolved into two large marimba bands currently constituting more than 50 High School students in our sought-after marimba program. Come join us for a lunchtime showcase at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on Monday 18 March 2024 at 12pm, as we celebrate our students’ eight month’s preparation with original, fabulous marimba arrangements of songs from the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Michael Jackson, Drake and Johnny Clegg.
