Converse ULT.X, Cape Town’s premier Action Sports event, returns to Battery Park on March 1-2, 2024. This adrenaline-fueled extravaganza will feature top local and international BMX and skateboarding talent. Since 2008, it’s drawn the world’s best athletes to South Africa, offering not just competition but a chance to dive into the local action sports scene.
Expect fierce competition and the explosive energy of action sports culture. The 2024 edition promises bigger athletes, an expansive BMX park & skate plaza, brand experiences, and a major music act. In 2023, Boipelo Awuah and Devandre Gallant clinched victory in the Women’s and Men’s Skate competitions, thrilling a sold-out crowd. The BMX contest saw an all-international podium, with Anthony Jeanjean, Daniel Sandoval, and Mike Varga displaying their skills.
