ATMs

There are ATMs all over the V&A Waterfront, so you will never be very far away from one when you need to draw cash. Look out for them at the Nu Metro Cinemas, at the Woolworths and Pick n Pay basement parking , at the banks in the Market Square as well as at the Watershed. International visitors can safely withdraw money from any of the ATMs located around the property. There are currently ATMS of the four major banks, namely ABSA, Nedbank, FNB and Standard Bank.

Yes you most certainly can at the ATMs of ABSA, Nedbank, FNB and Standard Bank.

On each ATM there is an emergency contact number, which you can phone if the machine withholds your card.

Banks

There are branches of the four major banks, namely ABSA, Nedbank, FNB and Standard Bank. We currently do not have Capitec Bank at the V&A Waterfront.

The banks are all located in Market Square, which is easy to find as it is behind the Cape Wheel outside the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre and near the Information Centre.

• Standard Bank – Mon – Fri 09h00-15h30 and Sat 08h30-11h00 (last business day of month open from 08h30)
• Absa – Mon – Fri 09h00-15h30 and Sat 08h30-11h00 (last business day of month open from 08h30)
• FNB – Mon – Fri 09h00-15h30 and Sat 08h30-11h00 (last business day of month open from 08h30)

Disabled Facilities

Within the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, there are two bathrooms for the disabled: at the Food Court, next to Anat, and between Caroline’s Fine Flowers & Aldo, near Willoughby and Co.

The vast majority of restaurants are wheelchair-friendly. Staff are always willing to assist where necessary.

These are located across the V&A Waterfront, for ease and convenience.
• Silo and Clock Tower districts (if visiting the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, the Nelson Mandela Gateway for ferry departures to Robben Island or staying at one of our hotels)
• Alfred Mall near the Cape Grace and three Newmark hotels .

Lost Children

Contact V&A Security (021 408 7708) or the Information Centre (021 408 7600).

At any of the information desks or kiosks. The information desk is in the building next to Ferryman’s Pub, whilst the two information kiosks are located in Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, above the Pick n Pay, and adjacent to the Clicks.

Lost Property

You can do this either at the V&A information Centre at 280 Dock Road next to Ferryman’s Pub (Tel 4087600) or at the Information Kiosk in the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre or at the Security Control Room (Tel 021 4087708).

You either need an ID book/valid passport or a driver’s license.
