Mad 4 Waves is a group of four young men who have committed to spend up to 2 months racing across the Atlantic in an ocean rowing boat. The MAD 4 Waves 24 hour Rowathon is an endurance rowing event to raise awareness for their causes of cleaning up our oceans and helping raise funds for education.

Museums will be open from 5pm until 10pm, offering free admission to the public, with a number of other attractions offering half price admission. The museum exhibitions are supported by an exciting programme of performances and walkabouts.

Come and see our creative Young Entrepreneurs EARN, LEARN & HAVE FUN. Each stall submits an advert, completes an accounting sheet and meets a number of POS requirements in order to gain a certificate. All traders take a Plastic Free Pledge too so no single use plastics are permitted. Some 50 traders from 4 to 16 years old at 25 fabulous stalls will compete for awards in various categories and overall Young Entrepreneur of the Day which will be announced at 2pm.
Back by popular demand, the Quay 4 Battle of the Bands is now open for 2018 entries! Come down to Quay 4, and enjoy bands from all over the Cape as they battle it out. From May to August, get your fix of local bands every Tuesday evening with the finale on the 28th of August 2018! Quay 4 proudly supports the local music industry, and we hope to see you there!
