Our neighbourhood is home to all sorts of adventures for young explorers, with so much to see, do, and experience. Below is a sneak peek of what’s waiting for your family in our neighbourhood.

Scratch Patch

Kids can enjoy hours of fun scratching through a floor covered with tumble-polished gemstones to find their favourites, creating a treasure hunt experience they’ll never forget.

Cave Golf

Cave Golf is an 18-hole mini-golf course, a family favourite that’s perfect for both seasoned golfers and little ones. With its fun and cleverly designed layout, it offers the perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment.

Be.UP

Run, play, and explore – a fun-filled adventure for the whole family awaits at be.UP pop.UP Park! Whether you’re conquering the epic maze or unwinding with a coffee, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 

Waterfront Duck Co.

The Waterfront Duck is the country’s first all-in-one land and water amphibious trip and promises an experience like no other, seamlessly blending bus and boat exploration in a single vehicle. Named ‘Bella’ this is a bus and a boat in one.

Two Oceans Aquarium

Open 365 days a year, visitors- both young and old – can witness the incredible range of fish and other amazing creatures that call the South African coastline home. Check when the animal feeding times are, visit the predator exhibit, the astonishing kelp forest and the penguin exhibit. From sharks to jelly fish, eels, the Knysna seahorse, crabs and a dazzling array of Indian Ocean fish – these enormous tanks contain them all.

Battery Park

An urban park that integrates Cape Town’s city centre and the V&A Waterfront through a series of pedestrian routes, including one alongside the canal. Visitors can engage in a range of outdoor recreation, entertainment and retail activities across various levels of public spaces.

The Cape Wheel

Now located along the V&A Waterfront’s Breakwater Boulevard overlooking Granger Bay, the wheel brings a new visitor experience to the neighbourhood. Views include Granger Bay on one side, Robben Island in the distance, views of Table Mountain on the other end and so much more. Hop on with the kids and see the world from way up high.

Artjamming

Little ones can unleash their creativity by playing, painting, sponging, or spraying with Artjamming. And for younger kids, there is Messy Play – where they are encouraged to dive into a world of colourful fun and get as messy as they like while exploring their artistic side.

The Jolly Roger

Calling all little captains on board the Jolly Roger Pirate boat! Set sail for adventure and a good time.

SUP

Visit SUP Cape Town for a day of stand-up paddling and splashing about in the sun. A newbie to SUP? Not to worry, the team provides introductory lessons to get you geared and ready in Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) boarding.
